This is great - I love how Ronon is oh-so-quietly falling apart. Sadly it's very believable that Shep could be such a jerk

Thank you! I felt kind of guilty for making Shep into sort of the bad guy of the fic 'cause I really do love his character, but it fit surprisingly well.... And writing Ronon's part of this was really one of my favorite bits to work on, so I'm glad that worked out well. :)

As I thought when I read your other stories ("Tension and Silence" and "Insecurity") I think your characterization is great. It made me very sad for all 3 characters, especially Ronon and a little mad at the way they're not talking, especially John.

Ordinarily, I am quite happy with stories that have loose ends, but this story felt like it could go a little further, even if it didn't end well for the characters.

Thank you! As always, I'm so happy you enjoyed this! It was really interesting writing about these 3, and I hadn't expected it to be quite so fun to write, either.

And I really didn't want this fic to just be a one-shot, or, if it was going to be one, I wanted it to be about...2000 words longer. I actually have the dialogue for the next part written, but, since I don't know when I'll have time to actually write it all out, I chose to just leave this as it is for now and worry about continuing it later if I ever have the chance. I didn't really like where I left it off, but...time limits and such. :)

Don't apologize. This is really good. I like the humorous style/tone the whole thing has until suddenly it's not funny but is instead heartbreaking and uncomfortable. And I like that you don't tell how it happened or why, because all that matters is that it happened and now they've all got to deal with the consequences.

Heh, I have a serious problem with always apologizing for everything. :D I'm so glad you liked this! I was a bit worried about the switch from humorous to not funny at all because I didn't know if it'd be too sudden or something, so I'm really glad you actually liked that. It's quite nice to know. :) And I'm glad not telling the circumstances seemed okay to you, too. That was one of the many things I was wondering about. :)

This makes me feel so sorry for Ronon. My vote for sequel? A threesome:P Because I hate seeing anyone sad and this doesn't look like it can end happily, at least not for all three of them. I really hope you decide to write a sequel for this because my heart is breaking for all of them right now.
