And, you're right, I really need to post more. I feel quite guilty about it most days, but school eats away a huge chunk of my time now. :( However, I'm trying to learn how to manage what little time I do have in a more effective way, so hopefully I'll be able to write more during the next semester.

Your fic captures perfectly what I felt after viewing Utopia -- that angsty chest clench that comes from witnessing heartbreak. The Doctor accepts Jack again, and yet Jack now knows he'll always be wrong in the Doctor's eyes, and that makes my heart ache. Just like your fic makes my heart ache.

Thank you! That episode finally made me feel like writing a fic again, and I really wanted to somehow recreate some of the feeling and emotion of that episode. It's lovely to know that this fic was able to do that to some degree. :)
