Aw, I'm sorry to hear that, girl. It sounds like it's for the best, but it does make me wish I'd gotten in there earlier today. Now I'll just have to make a point of running into you somewhere else.
I thought of you today not only when I pondred when I'd make it to the library but also when I remembered, walking downtown, that I haven't used my Insomnia Cookie dough yet. (Get it? "dough"? ha-- i am so very funny) Maybe we could arrange to hit the cookie truck together sometime?
Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear that. Hubby and I were there last night and were just saying how much it's changed. It's not just a lack of customer service, it feels downright unfriendly now and it seriously makes me so very, very sad. Is the the new management or just the full time staff they have now? I'm seriously considering making a comment myself.
I think it's primarily the new management and perhaps one of the full time staff people...who will be transfering back to her old branch soon and KELLY will be coming back! Yay! Except I'm not there anymore, boo. Oh, and there are usually circ clerks from other branches over there covering, which is always interesting...and could contribute to the feel of the place.
Everyone's kind of...I don't know, nervous? Watchful? Paranoid? B/c of the new management...seriously, there's always this feeling of everyone releasing their held breath once she leaves.
Maybe it's not just her, but that's what had me most stressed. Her and the abovementioned full time staff person whose name means the same thing as mine... Ha ha! Figure that one out! :)
Oh, and it might seem not as friendly b/c everyone at circ is stressed b/c they are two part time people short.
