I've always been interested in talking to people about their beliefs in the supernatural (ghosts, ufos, etc.) and, since I've never really seen too many posts on my flists about this,
Growing up in Texas its hard to discount a lot things. I'm extremely open-minded. I've lived off and on in a haunted house for several years now. My parent's house is very haunted. I've seen ufo's twice now out at the lake that's near my house. I agree with the others. It would be ignorant of us to think that there isn't other life out there in this vast universe. As for zombies, Bigfoot, and the rest...I haven't seen any, but who's to say that they aren't out there? :)
Hmm, well, I'm agnostic in the sense I don't understand God, but I do believe in the Judeo-Christian Father God, so I suppose I also believe in angels and demons. And that people have souls and spirits (take note... ..there's more than one place in the Bible where it refers to soul & spirit as DIFFERENT things) so I'm not sure where I stand on WHERE such things exist, if living people ever see them, as "ghosts" or whatever, but I =DO= believe they exist. I believe in aliens on the same principle: I'm sure that somewhere in the universe there's another planet or planets that have developed life. Thus, to us, those are aliens. Now, whether or not those other planets have any ability to contact or influence Earth is a completely different subject.
I don't believe in "supernatural creatures" other than mentally disturbed people who believe themselves to be vampires or lycanthropes or whatever, but I do think there is some basis to "zombies". I don't think they're actually the walking dead, more like the drugs used to "prepare" the zombie
