I suspect the lack of warmth is what is keeping you sick. It certainly can not be helping you get better.

*hugs* I hope you get better soon sweetie.

Thank you pretty Lady,

I am very much looking forward to those attic windows getting here eventually. One is the old original, drafty single pane, the other is presently just a couple layers of vapour barrier - that's the one that was broken when we moved in.

Egad. I recommend adding a layer of clear plasic to all of your windows this year as well, just for the added insulation. I have a feeling it will be extremely cold this winter.

Thank you.

*smile* Yes, I am a cautious humanbean, they both have safety features. Mostly they both run for a little bit and then cool off so that they do not over heat. We don't run them all day. They are both kept a few inches to a foot from walls and other hard surfaces and as close as I get to three feet from any soft surfaces such as bed and fabrics. The bathroom heater sits on the floor and is plugged into one the surge-tripped outlets, the bedroom one sits on a vanity.

It's very dry in the bedroom, so on a different wall where the furnace vent is, i have a little ceramic bowl with water to hydrate the air minimally to compensate for the loss.

I think i covered all the bases, but I'd be glad to hear if you think anything was missed.
