futility

Well, obviously Aki and I are just too plain stupid to be told the name of my throat infection.  On top of that, the doctor kept switching between the words bacteria and virus so I'm guessing that with his magical medical guru knowledge he could tell by simply looking at my throat that I somehow came up with a mixture of a bacterial and viral ( Read more... )

Oh my poor darling! Wish I could be there to soothe you and give you sherbet! But then I'm selfish and always opting towards you being on the same continent as me!

On a more positive note, think of the good things that have come of you living in Japan! You found Aki and have learned/experienced so much!

You are loved/missed/adored/appreciated by so many people, my beautiful Boobzilla. I hope you feel better soon!

Here's the link. I hope it's close to your home! If not, maybe you and Aki can take an afternoon and go and have a look.

It looks like it has a quite a few resources. And even if there isn't something being held at the facility that you're interested in, I'm sure they have a bulletin board or maybe you could talk to someone and they could recommend something to you. Osaka is a huge city. There's got to be something : ) If I find any more links, I'll send them to you.

I hope your throat is better soon, so you can put your super plan into action!

I'm so sorry that you're having a hard time. I really know the feeling, having lived somewhere (going on 13 years now) that I dislike. Fortunately, for me, after about 8 years of really hating it, I was able to get into a kind of groove and now, most days living here is even okay. *hugs*
