Quick Update (with Pictures!)
I'm off to yoga in 15 minutes, but I wanted to share a few pictures before I rush out the door.
It rained this afternoon and everything is fresh and GREEN - I love it. Spring is awesome when your favorite color is GREEN! The cats are ecstatic over all the bugs. Our almond tree is covered in these blossoms right now and I LOVE them:
They remind me of cherry blossoms, kind of. I love the pink, and the layers of the petals. We have a few of these in the yard and I just can't bear to pull them - they make me think of Spring:
Some pretty ground cover and a vintage gardening post, both gifts from Mom:
I hope the ground cover can survive the summer - we almost lost it all last year. My baby sunflowers, which I proudly grew from seed :)
They are "sunset" variety, which means lots of orange and reds, not just yellow. Here we have some refreshing chocolate mint, growing in my favorite estate sale pot:
The Buddha in the background was an estate find, also.
And lastly, a picture of my sweetie, being a shy guy :)
