I am please to announce the safe arrival of Jake Benjamin Richard born 11:30pm 14 April 2008.

He was due on 11th but true to form was late :)

We are both well, Steve has almost recovered from labour ;) and Katrina isn't sure about the small crying baby but likes all the toys that came with him so I think she will let him stay!!

Please excuse my total confusion - I am getting on a bit. If you are the charming hostess that gave me a superb dinner chez you and Pixie 2 years ago, then I wish you all good. I recall how much you wanted to be a mother, and also remember how good I thought you would be at it...

If not, I shall go away and hide for a bit :-)
