That is definitely scary. I don't have a twitter account, but it's pretty much the only social networking "thing" that i don't do...

What a dreadful experience. I admire the level of analytical perspective you managed to attain in this summary - it's quite a feat considering the anguish it must have caused you at the time. Amidst all the very apt cautions, I must commend Twitter for taking timely action and responding to spam complaints promptly. At least some powers that be are aware of the sespool lapping at their heels.

I think I find it helpful to make sense of things. Indeed, that's the most threatening part of it, that it didn't make sense. Plus, in many ways I'm an educator at heart, so I enjoy informing with my writing.
