I saw your post on the LiveJournal homepage and I love it so much that I had to comment. I don't feel comfortable in women spaces too, but I hate that I'm increasingly expected to fit in. Even more so because I'm in Asia and in this part of society everything is so damn gendered here. I actually hate being a woman in this society but there's a necessity for me to dress in a "feminine" way (I draw the line at wearing skirts/dresses daily though, only on special occasions for me) in this society. Thanks for putting so much of my thoughts on women spaces into words. I think this is very common in the patriarchal-majority world.
You bring up such a thought provoking topic. I think gender and identity are things we as a society have a lot to learn. I do hope that you are able to traverse the plains without judgment.
