Note to self: If you are going to be doing a costume that involves you spending two hours painting yourself green, from your hairline, to the insides of your ears, to curve of your navel, to the bottom of your feet, make sure that your destination is not ENTIRELY LIT WITH RED LIGHTS ( Read more... )

I will note that at least with this costume, the likely response is "...blue?" instead of "...eyes?"

::laughs:: You are very kind. Scroll down in this post...Patrick posted a picture of me and Jim and you can see the eyes.

The contacts worked impressively well. I have a set in green, one in grey, and one in violet as well, but this was the first time I tried any of them on. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest will look like.

Yeah, I saw; in that light they show up quite nicely. (Go figure, a flash helping in a dark room? Nah...

Green I've both seen and used; it's very effective. Grey I'm curious about now; never seen that in lens form. You'll have to show me sometime.
