Really Kate, you should be able to tell from some of the context that it wasn't Randy Lebeau. Firstly, Lebeau's don't speak Portugese, nor broken Spanish. Secondly, it sounds like this Randy is GOOD at drums. Ba-zing!

And Corrinne, you need to catch me when I'm not about to sleep, that'd be good for a change. I'm currently sleeping like a normal person, so it's a prime opportunity.

thats why i was confused...

but randy is a drummer, and the talk of going to jims with him would seem to make sense.

as far as the "good drummer" comment. Ouch, man. Randys pretty great as a drummer, just depends on the style you like i guess.

If you listen to my brother play drums after Randy it sounds silly, my brother sounds so much more solid, it sounds more professional, more precise, and my brother's fills actually return to the beat on time unlike Randy's fill (please note the singular form of the word "fill" because last time I checked Randy only had one). Drumming is just as much timing as it is style and Randy has little of either.

It's not like my brother is the best at drums either, just to clear that up. We went to the guitar center drum off, and although everyone actually had a routine prepared and my brother didn't, there were four or five people out of 10 (including my brother) who were better than him. I'm just trying to convey that Randy isn't very good.

i dont know. your comments are pretty harsh. granted randys not always a great person but i don't have much against him anymore, and this just seems pretty silly, seeing how i only asked if she was speaking of randy lebeau. i dont know when the last time you heard him play was, but out of most people who claim to be a drummer, the kid can pick up music pretty easily, on various instruments. im sure your brothers great. im sure many people are. but that really has nothing to do with the original postings, so, i think we should leave it at that before randy gets bashed anymore.
