"When someone shows you who they really are, and it isn’t as beautiful as you’d imagined, you need to learn to believe them the first time." I’m sure that this can be found somewhere else in these electronic pages, and the reason for that is simple. This is some of the most important advice I have ever received. Because it is true to me. And what ( Read more... )

it is a waste of years, don't give up though, that'd also be a waste of potential future years.

I’m sorry, you know my laughter wasn’t meant to offend, it also wasn’t born out of amusement. More so from the realization that the pursuit of happiness can be so harsh, so painful that it starts to seem contradictory. I found it ironic and then I laughed...

But what I said I still believe in, you are young, and like the rest of us have lessons that need to be learned before you can find him. After all maybe its not so much that you’re looking to discover someone, but looking to ready yourself for him. We all know “Good things come to those that wait” is a load of bull shit. You’ve got to work for them, so don’t ever give in to apathy or content. Don't ever let the world defeat you.

I know I'm not the kind of friend most would want. I'll say that right now, if you have a million and one faults mine are legion. You made a statement that seems to imply that people want you around so they can be a better person, I can only speak for myself when I say this, you are my friend because I want to be a better person so I can continue to be your friend, not so that by being your friend I am a better person. Sorry if it is confusing we both know how well I am able to express myself when it comes to a matter serious to my heart. To me life always has been a joke, or so I like people to believe, you know who I am and know that I would not lie to you. You are as much family to me as my little sister and you again know me enough to know what that means to me. Because of that though I have to say this being my family gets you great perks. Someone bothers you I will defend you, I will always look out for you, and try to protect you pyhsically and emotionally if possible. The drawback, I will threaten to beat som sense into you. Things always seem to happen when; you don't expect them to/aren't looking for them to/don't really want them to/it's really inconvenient for them to. Murphy's law really has some merit to it, if you ask me. But even considering that, and as cliche and lame as it may sound, I have found that everything really does seem to happen for a reason. Whenever that one really good moment comes, I can look back at the series of unfortunate events (I have been using that phrase a lot since reading those books, which are amazing by the way and you likely would love, if you have not already read them) and see exactly what lead me to that one good thing, and forgive them all because of it ( ... )
