So recently, I made a small comment on a friend's journal about how it's bad to feed ducks. Unfortunately, I seem to have upset some people, which happens quite often. I think perhaps I did not articulate myself enough...so here is why you should not feed ducks ( Read more... )

I don't think you're shelfish. I don't give a crap one way or another. Feed the ducks, don't feed the ducks. Whatever.

As I told you, I was not AWARE of who MADE the comment. I assumed it was some fat ass bitch sitting in her five bedroom house in one of those nice housing development that pop up all of the place. Therefore, I was not saying YOU were bad for the environment, Lauren.

You obviously don't feed ducks shit like candy and sweets. You don't give them french fries and other such garbage. Just like you don't give your dog chocolate. Or let your cats only source of liquid be milk or cream. The issue I was thinking about was people running off ducks because they shit everywhere.

"Let's all kill the geese because their shit makes it so we can't swim in the lake or walk our dogs without stepping in gross bird shit. And ZOMG don't feed them, we don't want them to live anywhere NEAR where we take our recration, even though our houses are all over their natural habitat."

Holy shit, my issue is with those people. They exist. They're idiots. Excuse me for hating them and being a bitch to them. Actually, don't. I am a bitch to people I don't like, ( ... )

Thanks Tasha. I understand where you're coming from. I don't like those people either, and I understand how my comment came off across that way. I did not state my opinion properly. If you and your mom want to feed ducks, that's your thing, it's not illegal...yet. (in some places it is). But it is not healthy for the animals, or for us.

The deal is, there are many other things that I choose to do to help with the environment. I really do not see the harm in me feeding ducks/geese/crows.
So fucking sue me......
