Isn't it great when relatives start with the whole "accident" thing and you fear the worst? Can't they just say "she dislocated her shoulder" instead of "she had an accident and...".
I'm not sure about the job thing. It's all down to ill health and I can't really blame - I've called in sick six fridays in a row. In fairness it isn't gone yet. I asked if I could cut my contract down - as i keep calling in sick every friday - and they said I either had to work my contracted hours or leave. I'm going to the doctors, citizens advice and to talk to my manager tomorrow. See whether I can either step down as supervisor and do less hours just as a sales assistant (much less money but better than NO money) or go onto a 0 hour contract and leave until I'm capable of working then come back in whatever roles they have available - they do this for students and did it for a lady who had cancer, so it's not exactly new.
I might also just leave and see if I can use what energy i have to focus on the book burrow.
