I'm terrible with shots, and needles in general. When we tried injections for my migraines, it induced such bad panic attacks that triggered migraines, we couldn't tell if the medicine worked. However, when my snake got pneumonia and I had to give him antibiotics, I was able to suck it up and deal with the injections. So I think you'll do ok with the shots in the long run because you're dedicated to the cause they represent.
well, you will be happy to know that I *somehow* got through giving myself the shot with the help of my friend. He put on David Bowie music and we just talked while I was convincing myself to do it and then somehow I just did it, heh. I sorta freaked out for a minute after I actually stuck it in though and he had to remind me what to do, so I'm glad he was there.
I know how horrible needles are for you (and you know that I'm exactly the same). I'm eally proud of you for getting through it, Danny. Getting through fears like that is so difficult, but I know you'll manage to sustain it because I know how important this is for you. Well done (: x
