I did not get the job at the Governor Bacon Health Center. I did not really want the job, but I would have taken it, so this makes the decision easier. But I still need a job, and I still don't know if I got the preschool job that I reeeaaaallllly want. all right -- have sent out thank you letters for both my last interviews.

am still in pajamas at noon. yet my dayplanner is fuller than ever. I didn't even need to buy a dayplanner until I quit my job. before it was easy...what's on the scedule for today? work. and after that? work. and tomorrow? work.

had an awesome trip to the goodwill on kirkwood hwy yesterday. last night I went to rocky, and laura's gonna toss me a coupla shifts to work, so that's cool. I'm working rocky next week, and a few hours this evening. I'll find out within a week whether I got that preschool job I really want. hopefully I'll find out about that before I find out ( Read more... )

Have returned from four days in NY. Pretty tired. Missing Tom. Not yet prepared for, nor looking forward to, my interview on Wednesday in Dover. well, I am still unemployed. I am going to my parents' house in NY with them this weekend, along with my neice and nephew. when I come back, I'm taking an infant and child first aid/cpr course, and then the day after that I have a job interview. it's a group interview though, and those blow, and I suck at them, so my hopes aren't too high. it' ( Read more... )
