i kinda forgot about my LJ for a couple months there. just letting you all know that i'm still here. i was trying to find a short piece of text to use for a linguistics class, but there's just too much to look through and i'm getting distracted by wanting to read everything ( Read more... )

we're living in a basement apartment in Orem, 1600 N, so about a 15 minute drive to campus. but i have a car, so that's very nice. the wedding was perfect! it wasn't too hot, there was a breeze that made for some fun candid shots, and everyone could make it so there was family everywhere. it was really, really nice. thanks so much for commenting!

not much, i haven't checked my email in a month or two and have tons to go through. i really wish i had the internet at home. someday...

i work with the beehives in young women now, which means i think i get to go to girls camp in the summer! by the way, did you ever give me your address so i could send you an invitation? even though it's been 8 months, if you still want a wedding invitation and you never got one just let me know.

when are you going to sign up for BYU? ;p (it's ok, i ask jeff the same question all the time)

Update on my life: I got back from boot camp, learned some important lessons since. I'm now a manager at Sonic working too many hours a week to count, until I start school (for real this time) in the fall. I'm single, and happy to be for now. Working on some new stories, and also a screenplay.

I recently got Orson Scott Card's "Maps in the Mirror" collection, and I'm still reading it. I love it, and he's still a favorite.

God is still a strong part of my life, and I ask Him everything. We'll see how things go. Maybe I'll go to BYU one day...

I'm really tired. I just worked a 12 hour shift, I did yesterday, too. I also have to work another 12 hours tomorrow. Blah!
