Hmmm. I've gone back and forth over this a few times—the cover! it's pretty! but nothing else has really drawn me in. This doesn't absolutely sway me towards the must read pile, but I think I might as well put it down on my list and see if a copy ever does jump out at me, sometime.

Yeah the cover really drew me to it, but then I ended up getting it on my Kindle. haha. I would be curious to see what you have to say about it, because I was just wanting *more*. I was also wondering as I read what you would have to say about it. ;) Maybe if you see it in the library or something.

My review! I'll admit I was probably swayed more by atmosphere (slash IS IT HALLOWEEN TIME NOW YES PLEASE) than anything, but that's not necessarily a bad thing—it's a thoroughly enjoyable read, as well as just being a decent thing all 'round, and I loved the premise. I also wanted for a bit more—not so much so from the characters in general, but from The Morrigan and the Lady, who failed to be particularly memorable (baring the Lady's first physical description) and from the worldbuilding, which lost steam post-premise; I also flinched a bit at the teen clichés, but I can forgive them.

Anyway, I'm glad that you reviewed this, because it was what made me put the book on hold. All caveats aside, because it's not quite great literature, it was exactly what I wanted to read right about now and I loved it in that respect.

This time of year always colors my reading choices and anything too upbeat/perky grates on my nerves. (Like a character in the last book I read...) It's always a very happy moment when someone reads something that you read/reviewed/rec'd and enjoys it. I even like it when they don't just for the back and forth that provides, but it is a satisfying feeling when it is enjoyed. :D
