I was telling my mother that I needed to go to the DMV today to do my voter registration and so Chris could change the address on his. SHe laughed and said "McCain is going to win anyway", like I was wasting my time voting.

*sigh* That really depressed me... I guess it goes back to how I felt in the 2004 election.

Don't worry about the army of cynics.

Obama's back up in lots of polls and has an unprecedented network of people on the ground. There's more than a chance that if we all work hard this can happen.
