What a horrible day. I am so unhappy I don't even feel like typing everything. The short version is that my mom calls me today and says that my uncle (who lives next door and I love like a father) never came home from his walk this morning. This is at about 2 pm and he walks at 7 am. So I rush home hysterical and in my house is my whole family

OMG, I am SO SORRY. What an awful, awful day you must have had. I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family went through today. I have no doubt that Your uncle will have learned his lesson once he realizes exactly what he put his family through today.
I'm glad everything turned out well in the end though, as the alternative is MUCH worse as I'm sure you know.

Thank you. And yes, I think he will learn from this. His daughters and his wife are kicking his butt today I'm sure. They will guilt trip him all day for scaring us half to death. :)
