The following is just a piece I wrote for a young writer's contest in my city. The requirements were that it had to do something with water, and that it had a maximum of 1500 words. Of course, I seriously doubt that I will win because my story, as usual, is dark and twisted -- I'm concerned about what the judges will think because it's for World ( Read more... )

Oh, well. All I really wanted was some media attention anyway -- it doesn't matter to me whether or not I win, just as long as I can get someone's attention and hopefully have an editor or something contacting me about making something better. (Phewy on contests! Bwahahahaha...)

Thank you so much, Mac. I really appreciate the compliments coming from you! And I'd totally love it if you wanted to draw fanart for the story (I'm totally stoked about your Greentea manga)! It'll be like a collaboration! I'm in love with your art anyway! ^______^ (OHMIGOD, especially your Linkin Park and Constantine art. Totemo kawaii!!) I was gonna put the story on the website I'm currently working on, and I think it'd be great to be able to have some visuals attached to it. That is, of course, if you want you. You don't have to, but that would totally rock. <3

Ohmigosh, are you serious?? Ooooh, I'd love to be your personal critique-er... O_o I'm such a fan!! ^________________^ You can just show it to me on lj or email me (vampirealice@hotmail.com).

By the way, I saw your picture on your website -- ohmigod, you're so cute!! I like the first one, hahaha. It made me giggle. ^__^

This proves that it doesn't have to be slash for me to love it and regardless of whether that story was supposed to be het or not, that is how imagined it. So yeah, basically, YOU ROCK. And if that doesn't win then I hope all the judges are scared of it. I bet when they set the challenge as water, they expected everyone to write about mermaids or some shit.

But just GUH. Seriously. They don't need to say it 'cause you already won dude. *does the I-love-your-writing dance*

Awww, thanks very much, Roz! Haha, yeah, I bet the judges were like, "what the fuck?" Mermaids and shit? Nahh, not my style (unless it's for a fairy tale challenge, specifically XP). Thank you for saying that I rock. *dances*

Yeah, most of the time, the original fiction I write never has a specific gender for the main character, because I like it when my readers can relate to the feelings of the character, without them having to think, "oh, it's good, but I'd probably understand it better if I were a boy/girl like the main character," or something like that. Although, of course, the POV was supposed to be from a boy's point of view, but that's just for me. ^_^

Actually, I'm working on a manga (comic) based on this story, and the main character is a boy, named Ran, and his friend's name is Yuki.

Anyway, thanks again~!! *HUGS*
