Estrogen Day One

Jun 17, 2008 11:36

I just took the estrogen so it should be an interesting day. I just hope the side effects are subtle because I have a corporate chair event tonight. I have to be able to work for Four hours.
I think I finally found the Utena picture I want for my profile page thingy. I have to go back and find the nice girl fainnehalo told me about ( Read more... )

I saw my GP last night. He was surprised that the gyne gave me 6 onths worth of clomid in one hit and that there had been no ultrasounds or tests along the way. He didn't want me going back. He also said that he wants me to lose MORE weight before trying the clomid again. He said that realistically you can only have about 6 goes of clomid before it won't ever work again. So I should do my best to be in peak condition before using up all of my 'gos' so to speak. He didn't do a bloodtest to see fi I'm pregnant. He thinks I'm probably not. He said he's happy for me to try ONE more go of clomid but then I have to lose abother 10kg ag least before he wants me to try again. -sigh- He said that any other gyne would make me do the same thing. Says he's happy to refer me again but i don't think i want to explain the ENTIRE story to someone else AGAIN, only to be told to try naturally again first, and then lose weight, and then and then nd then. I'm over it. Well. Today I'm over it. I need some time to just...think about what I'm going ( ... )

Everything I've read says you get three tries at the three different does and then that's it and you are left with I.V.F. The reasoning behind it is that prolonged use thins out the lining of the uterus and makes it more and more difficult for the embryo to implant. I need to mail youa copy of the The Infertility Survival Handbook. I will try to get one on the way to you or you can pick one up where you are. It's a white book by: Elizabeth Falker. Also I suggest you get A patient's guide to PCOS by: Walter Futterweit. I have LOTS of books on the subject. I HAD TO KNOW. I'm a big reader and I'm driven to learn things because I know there are a lot of things the doctors don't tell us or offer us unless we ask about it ( ... )

I weigh (converted) 209 pounds. I know, it's quite big. -sigh-
How much do you weigh?

I've read so much - one of my friends has told me to 'stop reading about it so much' and I got angry with her and said if I hadn't read, I wouldn't have known and done 6 months of clomid and 'wasted' it all. I think I might have to build myself back up again. So you took 12 months so prepare yourself? Did you lose weight?

LOL! You weigh less than me. I'm around 217 pounds. I'm still losing slowly...but I know it's time to try again so I'm doing it now. Take your time, there is no need to rush. In that year I changed what I ate a LOT and lost some weight and went through several OB/GYN's and an R.E.

The same one BlueRoseBride97@aol.com.
Rob is now saying that I can come up. I'm waiting on that damn government check. With the way things are going it will most likely be after Miss Lucy makes her way into this world.

No, it's not a 50 lb baby. LOL A lot of that went to my ass (which she mercifully covered on those).

I hope it's after Lucy gets here. I'm trying to talk her into coming out in the next week!!! Know anything convincing I can tell her?
