Dear Everyone,

My Mom is turning 50 this year, so we must have a party. Sorry, you are not invite. My mother is a good woman and you are all drunko hoodlums. I am in charge of food prep and while I have some ideas, I want to know your thoughts.
What is your favorite dish to munch on at a party? TELL ME! and include recipes if you know them.

spinach artichoke dip. recipes abound all over the internets, and most are really easy.

To be honest, I really like fish sticks, too.

I haven't been to a lot of parties where they serve nice things like that, except for parties where michelle is in attendance, and I have trouble describing those marvels, much less giving their names.

Dried figs split in half, stuffed with a rich blue cheese. Optional -add a candied walnut to the inside. These look particularly nice if you can stand them up so the stems are facing upwards.

Also anything mini is DELISH.

Also bruschetta. Just toast bread with olive oil on it and put tomato, herbs, cheese, olives, peppers, butternut squash, whatever you want on it and stick it under the broiler for a couple minutes.
