They're right - Doritos 100 Calorie Mini Bites really are the same as regular Doritos, just smaller. And they're cute to boot!

*cheers for diet breakthroughs*

My sister has a few of the different mini bite 100 calorie things, she loves them. I haven't tasted the doritos but I can always taste the fake sugar in the others or the lack of something that gives it some of it's flavor. It's good that you like them though, you can have your chips and eat them too!! Heh

See, Nabisco coined the 100 Calorie Packs, which are made differently than the real thing so they are only 100 calories.

Taquitos claims their 100 Calorie Mini Bites are the same thing, only smaller. Therein lies the deception.

Nabisco made a product for dieters. Taquitos took they're already-existing product and packaged it in smaller portions for lazy calorie-counters ... like me.

My Bad!

Taquitos.net is the site that offered the review I linked. Frito Lay is the company that actually manufactures the product.

I'll photocopy something for you and email it. You'll have to put it together though. That should help.

Also dole out only a serving at a time, or only how many servings you allow yourself to eat.

I bought a variety pack at Sam's CLub today. It's alot cheaper if you decide you like them. We go through A LOT of 100 calorie snacks around here. NO THINKING = GOOD DIET

The pack has sunchips, doritos, and cheetos cheese balls. Also, I really love the baked Scoops. You can drown your chip in salsa with them.

Hershey is making 60 calorie pieces of chocolate in different flavors. It's just enough to satisfy the need for a bit of choclate after dinner. And my new favorite is the Keebler fudge-mint cookie packs. They remind me of Thin Mints from the Girl Scouts, but easily portioned to prevent overdose.
Just my personal recommendations...

alendark and I went shopping on Monday and got a bunch of different things to try out. We now have a healthy snack counter in the kitchen with everything pointed out and written on the box. I think he picked up a box of the 100 Calorie Sun Chips. Oh, and we found those chocolates that modemgnome was telling him about. Haven't had a chance to try them yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Oooohhh, I love those Girl Scout Cookies! I'll have to pick up a box of those. Thanks for the tip!
