Holiday Lights - HELP!

Okay, I'm sick of my purple lights fading to pink and I'm sick of buying the cheap-ass lights that only last one year. So, I'm looking to invest in LEDs ( Read more... )

I remember an opinion of a respected teacher I had being high for Hong Kong lights ordered from e-day.

You're probably not going to have much luck with purple LEDs per se...as the technology is still newish, purple LEDs are kind of dim and I've never seen a strand of solid purple--I'm just now starting to see blue ones. I'd go with contractor-grade mini lights instead. We got some from Frontgate last year and I was very happy with them. They did come in purple, but there's a catch: Frontgate isn't selling those right now for some reason. If you like, I can look up the brand name and scout further.

Why is it when you want something, you can never find it?

I do appreciate your scouting skills, though, so anything you can find for me would be greatly appreciated.
