A dear friend just called to tell me that her brother had passed away. She had been at his bedside for the last couple of weeks, watching him slowly fade. She was holding his hand when he passed. She is gutted, exhausted and saddened beyond words. And so this occured to me ( Read more... )

Why do I feel like taking a day to relax (i.e., sitting around reading, playing games, etc) is a "waste of time"? Why does it make me feel guilty? I mean, ya.. I've got laundry to do and stuff, but... sheesh...

Why can't I totally enjoy doing nothing?
