I'd like to whine about PCC for a few minutes

I opted not to take any online courses this term because I don't have internet access at home and I have very little free time. Somehow I ended up taking two courses that just about require regular internet use. Currently I'm working on a problem set for my physics course that can only be done online using specific software that I had to purchase

It makes me so happy to hear you say that you don't want to spend all your time on the internet. I want to, of course -- I can usually feel the thing sucking on my neurons trying to get me back at a screen -- and I'm often very sad that so few of my actual skills and interests are pursuable there. My life seems to require me to interact with things and people in real space almost all the time. I feel pretty gross about it.

But you say real space, the land of my exile, is a good place for you? Why, that's right! It is a good place! It's good out here! It's good out ... um ... there.
