Plastic as a lost art form

Ok so we all know I'm crazy. I love crafts, never finish what I've started, and blah, blah, blah.

Well behold! I have finished a project. Granted it only took me two days, but that's about 8-10 solid hours of work into that thing.  Well, actually I have several little things finished, but this is by far the most labor intensive - and it wasn't too ( Read more... )

My camera is in a box somewhere so I can't take pictures of my stuff. :(

Oh! BTW, if you are looking to eventually start a store, I wouldn't choose ebay. Have you ever looked at etsy before? It's all handmade crafts. I have yet to buy anything there, I just like to oogle all the pretty things people are making.

OOOOOOOOH! I gots ta get me that book!!!! It looks like so much fun! Now, I looked at those bottles and thought,"Sasparilla. YUM." but that's just the way my mind works.

The book doesn't have a beaded bottle project, but it does have all the stitches mentioned. I highly suggest the about.com pages. There are tons of other techniques there.

The author of the book is a bead historian. She's currently studying Chinese beadwork history. Her website is interesting. Valerie Hector.com I believe.
