But my life is boring. :P

And Arizona isn't necessarily screwed...its just that theres a number of big cities in the Southwest, such as Phoenix and Vegas, that just plain shouldn't exist, or at the very least, ought to be about a fraction the size they are now. The native population before white settlement shows that its at least somewhat hospitable towards human settlement.
