Will you teach Gracie to say "Goodnight Gracie?" Or something to freak out the cats? I predict good times chez Fafojoy . . .

Yellow roses really are wonderful. Especially when they have that little bit of peach shading at the tips.

I figure she should learn 'good dog', 'bad dog', 'here kitty', 'meow', 'NO' - for starters. Plus mimic them :D

Nani adores her. She is beside herself about this new addition.

What gorgeous birds. Gracie looks the bomb. I've seen some incredible video of grays talking and responding to complex commands. It must be nice to be surrounded by so many happy little creatures.

I fell in love with African Greys 20+ years ago. And now i finally have one! She was abused, so it will take some time to really get the whole trust thing established so I can pet her. She doesn't like hands raised around her, but in time I'm sure we'll figure it out.

Gracie is lovely! But, so are all the other pets too! Don't forget to tell them that while cozing down with the new winged one.

DST... why? In an industrial age, why oh why?

I hate DST. Just hate it. I cannot get up an hour earlier.

Gracie is great. She'll eventually find her place in this crazy house of mine. Nani already loves her.

The funniest is Merry. When I take him out, he is much more cuddly and obedient. Funny what a little jealousy can do for behavior!

Congratulation on being adopted! :D She looks truly wonderful, and both intelligent and kind.

Is a Cichlid a fish? Because after some searching I found one in the photo! *smiling proudly*

Yeah, you found the baby fish! It is tiny - maybe a half inch long - I made him as big as I could in the picture. I'm so surprised it has lived this long. It just might make it to adulthood.

Wow, that's a tiny fish! I hope it will make it even past retirement age! Perhaps you can build it a little incubator to enhance its chances of survival? :)

If she's adopted you, does that mean that she picks up the bills?

DST - daylight saving time? We don't do that for another few weeks, but it's still nearly the equinox! Things can only get better!! (At least, they can't get worse. Can they?)

I wish it meant she picked up the bills. She will be my eternal 2 year old, ever in need of more food, more toys to destroy and lots of attention. Too bad I can't declare her as a dependent.

DST = daylight's savings time. I hate it. I still cannot get up an hour earlier. Though, tomorrow I have an east coast client who wants a 9am webinar, so I guess I have to. :/
