that article was pretty retarded I thought. the quote from the vice founder seemed pretty on point- "hipsters" are basically defined by a loose fashion code, and really the "irony and apathy" tag seems to be something pushed by people like this author, who can't find any universal characteristics of hipsters, because its pretty much a bullshit term for "young people".
