A british commentator described the Swiss as "footballing parasites" and I have to agree with him. You play uber-defensively for most of the 90 minutes waiting for the other team to become frustrated and take advantage of a mistake on the break. They didn't bother to create goal chances themselves. They deserved to go, I say.

Maybe, but after watching that I didn't necessarily think that Ukraine deserved to go through either. Man, that was a meh game.

After watching that I'm surprise you are still coherent! I was thinking that instead of Penalties we could just machine gun the lot of them and last one standing goes through, with the squad players that didn't play.

Or replace them with the losing team of the last 16 that scored both goals|were most entertaining. Italy vs Ukraine is already starting to fill me with inner dread.
