Will Stanton should have been at Hogwarts at the exact same time as Lily Evans and James Potter. The Drew siblings were the steadfast foundation of the Ravenclaw social order. Two top French tennis players, Gael Monfils and Gilles Simon, apparently decided it would be a good idea to jump on a trampoline together.

While doing so, Gilles fractured a vertebrae.

So basically the tennis world is being as bizarre as normal. ;)

I'm really sad about Delpo's wrist. He has the worst luck with injuries and it just sucks. I feel like his time could just slip away. :(((

Team France is the best. I love basically every single one of them except Mica Llodra. (Well, and sort of Gilles? Because of the misogynist crap? But I'm hoping he'll grow out of that.) Jo and Gael are impossibly, impossibly hot, and Nico is the nicest guy ever, and Julien has the most epic pout, and Richie's backhand brings all the boys to the yard.

Delpo's wrist is very sad, yes. :( I really hope it heals as completely and quickly as possible and that he can use the PR and regain his points soon. I'm trying to stay positive by thinking about how Tommy Haas credits some of his extra playing years to having "fewer miles" on his body because of his injury time off. So maybe Delpo will play until he's 35? *wishes and hopes*

[On an entirely shallow note, and I feel completely guilty saying this, but oh my god, that picture of Delpo after surgery was uh, very hot.]

Thanks! I enjoyed both of these, and it was nice that the fics had different ways of dealing with Pokemon world.
