Oh my goodness, you guys. What a fun weekend.

First: I had lunch/met herefordroad! She is so nice and so much fun, we just talked for hours. She brought me to this cute little vegetarian place where I had yummy tofu. Yay bean curd! We talked about fandom, and QaF and life and it was completely awesome.

oh no...i can vouch for the fact that you are not 12 years old! but i won't tell anyone! after i saw you, i was suppose to go to a cocktail party/housewarming kind of thing...i stayed in just like you and tara...i was relieved that my daughter didn't mind if i stayed behind, i couldn't face the weather.

i love that you liked the restaurant (gobo on 6th avenue near 8th street for anyone who wants very interesting vegetarian fare) and honestly, i think you are the first person i have ever met that truly likes tofu like i do. we spent over three hours in that place...it was terrific!

It got really rainy really fast. Lucky for me, Tara picked me up at the subway stop, so I didn't have to walk in the rain. It was the perfect night to just stay in and relax. I think you made the right choice, lol!

I've got the menu for Gobo pinned up on my wall, for the next time I make a city trip. I think I might drag friends there!
