Working an Overnight...

So I'm at work right now. It's four am. I've been here since 9 pm. Amazingly, I haven't passed out, though I'm kinda worried about the 10 mile drive home I've got. Mostly because I'm not sure when I'm going to get to leave. It will be funny to get home as my father is leaving for work, though.

For me the worst nights are when I'm off the night before. I sleep then so I'm up all day and all night. I was off last night, went in to do hospital rounds this morning and have to be back at 10:30 pm for a shift in the Emergency room. I'll be tired, but okay. Then I can sleep tomorrow and tomorrow night will be fine.

Drive safely. Unfortunately, I've gone to sleep a few times on my way home. I woke up once and I had just about run under a lumber truck. Scary! Because I have an hour + drive.
