Look what you got? Look what I got!

[And he throws up on the screen the centerfold of the October 2010 issue of Hustler he totally bought. Okay, well he totally procured it.]

Talk about educational.

That is not relevant to the conversation at hand! [Scowling, it is here.] Vulgar man.

You don't like it? [He half pouts. Moving his gaze between the video and the picture] You queer or somethin'?

It seems like a very inconsequential thing until it must be pointed out to you. It would have been uncomfortable to most to allow it to remain in their clothing.

It would indeed be uncomfortable, if it were to fall within the clothing. [Shaking his head.] What a foolish addition to be made to a garment.

I suppose it was essential when commerce and capitalism were a major concern.

Perhaps this is why. If not for these tags, they would not know what they had made and what they had not.

...I was wondering how I got them off.

This material's quite odd, isn't it?

...Victor's advice actually helped someone. <3333 failedcreator October 20 2010, 11:33:38 UTC
They are most irritating, are they not? If you journey to the room of crafts supervised by a warden, there are scissors to remove them.

It is very strange. I do not entirely trust its odd colour.

It has... a weird texture. It isn't paper, nor metal, nor cloth.

Perhaps it is made especially to secure the label. It does appear to be of great importance.

I believe it is up to the retailers to add the tag, to decide individual prices.

Prices! [Pause, why Victor examines the label.] There are indeed numbers within the tag. Yet is it not purchased through the exchange of electricity? [Also known as credit cards.]

rass_bestie October 20 2010, 11:44:38 UTC
The credit cards?

Well, you recall credit. Banks across the world issue credit cards so that you may purchase things and the electronic signal tells them how much you spent so that you can pay them back later.

Oh. [Suddenly, the whole system makes a lot more sense.] It merely saves a great many ventures to the bank, using science. That is rather clever, if somewhat unnecessary.

I can't believe you just made a metaphor comparing inmates to price tags.

This is the full name of the 'tags'? [Victor is happy with this new knowledge.] I am glad to be informed! Metaphors may also be made in any place. They are a very effective method for learning.

It's just kind of ridiculous. I mean, price tags, of all things. You know they end up getting thrown away, right?

[Have Victor 'Ah ha!' face.] And do inmates not throw away the poorer aspects of their own character?
