[You can see Victor's hands working on a puzzle, but his face isn't visible at this angle. He's putting a rather odd puzzle back together, given to him by Omega. It's very silver and shiny. Writings of the future. [Victor sounds amused, but approving.] I shall like to read those. These many puzzles are indeed of great entertainment, but they do strain the mind somewhat.

Perhaps I may examine one. [Then, thoughtfully.] My captain loved the stories of Dixon Hill. I can provide you numerous early 20th century mysteries. I do not believe I have given you Dumas's the The Man in the Iron Mask, which is a continuation of the Three Musketeers. I also have additional works by Dickens-

You must examine many. There are those I cannot solve. I do not know why, in many cases. [He doesn't sound too bothered by his lack of success.]

It's origins are grim and full of hypocrisy, but it has evolved into showing appreciation for that which is meaningful in their lives, so I suppose, that is a worthy holiday.

Even on the barge, one supposes that there are many things here that are meaningful. Certainly, it is better than many other places I know of in the world.
