[The camera angle shows a clear view of the inside of a front loading dryer. Through the clear, if slightly linty, plastic on the front you can see a steak sitting inside. It looks rather raw. Almost oozing, really ( Read more... )

"Experiment one" - were you going to alter the machine and repeat it?

I intended to repeat the experiment to properly determine its results, once I had obtained another steak.

Were you expecting different results from the same method?

I would expect the same response, the ensure that the first was not the result of random chance.

Did it...cook it?

It appears so! And yet, I would not recommend consumption of it.

It does look rather messy. Perhaps a potato would have done better?

Perhaps I should have started with something less ambitious.

And what did that "prove," exactly?

The effects of a man made marvel upon flesh. It may be useful in future.

You know, technically it's not flesh? But that's not the point, is it? The point is that all you did was make a mess.

I'm not telling you to stop experimenting. I'm just saying, why don't you start with things other people get that you might not? Like microwaving it? Or leaving it in the garden for a few days?

It was meat, which is as close as can be. You would not have me use the flesh of a man, surely?

I know what the garden example you provided will do. And sadly the microwaves in this place remain in the domain of the kitchen staff.

Fucking idiot. You wouldn't know the scientific uses of machinery if they bit you in the ass!

[Amanda could dismantle and rebuild that dryer to take apart living flesh if she only had the chance, and watching him fuck about with it like this is just rubbing in the fact that such a chance won't present itself.]

There's no need to insult him. I think Rex expressed the same sentiment without having done so.

Rephrase it, or go away.

Was I talking to you, asshole?

You're talking to my inmate. You were using language I deem offensive and unacceptable for civil conversation. I do not tolerate him using disrespectful language, so you can do the same.

Now moderate your language and try again, or leave him alone. Everyone else seems to have managed it.
