Often she looked to her for reassurance in a roundabout way, but recently things have changed. Although she still loves the girl dearly, Miranda understands now that she will never be able to have what she truly wants (acceptance for what and who she really is) for as long as she remains a tool of the family.

Not that she didn't egg him on or anything, nooo. Because of the things he brought up during their fight, and her subsequent dead!conversation with Joyd, she's decided to see how her other family members feel about being consumed before allowing herself to be. This along with other factors led her to the decision to defect from the family, like him! However, she is still fucking terrified of him and would only ally herself with him if there was absolutely no other option available whatsoever.

Also considered him a fool for joining the Exorcists after they killed him in his past life. Now she sees something of herself in him, and can (very, very reluctantly) understand how hard it must have been to leave the family for him. Damned if she ever says that though, because she is still bitter as all get out, although she's trying to get better.

Allison WalkerBlamed her along with Tyki for Road's condition, and is/was terrified of her ability to exorcise Noah. She was somewhat bothered by her insistence that they used to be friends and that she used to be an exorcist, but was largely able to ignore it for a while. As they fought and talked and experienced things more, the small-but-slowly-growing part of Miranda that harbored a deep sense of sorrowful affection for Allison grew, never mind that she started to remember coherent bits of her past as well. It was Allison that eventually led her to her decision to defect, although things are still awkward between them and Miranda has no idea what the hell she's doing.

Later returned it to him without a fight and feels beholden to him due to this, because she would catch more than hell from her family if they found out. Being around him makes her nervous and awkward (the nagging urge to kill him doesn't help) but she genuinely enjoys spending time with him because he's interesting and doesn't preach at her for being a Noah. She adopted a one-sided policy of "we can be friends in the DR but not at home" towards him that wasn't nearly as simple as she'd have liked it to be, even if they'd discussed it and gotten it out in the open at least. His unwavering acceptance of her is a huge part of what led her to decide to defect, and she really hopes it'll be easier for them to be friends now that she doesn't have to kill him |D She considers him surrogate, human family.

When he came back to the DR he had no memories of her or the place itself, but because he once told her that would happen were he ever to leave, Miranda was largely okay with it. Sad, because she was still very much in love with him, but okay because that's just the nature of the DR. The fact that there were parallels between their situation and her situation with many of her canonmates was extremely disconcerting... But now he has his memories back! HE'S HIMSELF AGAIN and she's fallen for him just as hard as before. Through some twist of DR magic, he managed to knock her up despite the fact that he's a vampire in the DR. Insert Twilight joke here. She's decided to keep the child despite the fact he said he won't help her with it, and the situation back home. Needless to say, things aren't nearly as simple between them as she'd like them to be.

Because she looked like Joyd at the time, he thinks her and her Joyd are both traitors.

Although she hated many of the things Kanda said, she knew on some level they were true and hated this even more. Yet she can't hate Kanda herself, because ultimately the woman doesn't care what side she's on, and that's incredibly important to her. This conversation was part of what helped her become a traitor (or defector, technically). They are on much better terms now, and Kanda is aware of Miranda's decision.

Allen Walker (Canon)As far as Allens go, the kid's not bad. At all. She even genuinely likes him- which, given her history, means a good deal. He sat and talked with her while she tried to repair a clock, and he even tried his hand at another. Fighting alongside him in the horror hall really made her start to wonder if she might actually start getting along with other Exorcists in the DR.

Tyki Mikk (Human)Different from most Tykis, he's not quite polite but not quite rude or even teasing, either. This kind of throws her. Because she met him shortly after Joy and CFUD!Tyki disappeared and he is human like the aforementioned Tyki was for a while, she feels something of a sense of worry for his circumstances and a vague desire to keep him at least alive in the DR. lolol transference She's mildly curious about his circumstances.

Tyki Mikk (Genderswap!AU)HER FIRST GIRLCRUSH, YAY. Miranda is actually pretty freaked out by the fact that she's so blatantly attracted to Ms. Tyki, because pre-Noah she was definitely straight. So it's something to get used to and ponder over! In the meantime she'll just fluster and flail like always.

Lavi (Demon)Different from most Lavis in that while he's working with exorcists, he's not prone to attacking Noah/helping the Order out all the time. She appreciates this! He also said some weird things about the way her soul "smells," that was disconcerting.

Kanda Yuu (AU)Met during one of the DR's teaparties and made out while under the influence of chocolate tea. Miranda was content to have a causal, white life!friendship with her while harboring a mild crush, until one night when she was horribly drunk and accidentally met up with her while in her black form. It led to a serious, angry, trigger-filled conversation about Miranda living not for the Noah, or the Order, but simply for herself. Although she hated many of the things Kanda said, she knew on some level they were true and hated this even more. Yet she can't hate Kanda herself, because ultimately the woman doesn't care what side she's on, and that's incredibly important to her. This conversation was part of what helped her become a traitor (or defector, technically). They are on much better terms now, and Kanda is aware of Miranda's decision.

Lavi (Canon)Despite being an Exorcist, Miranda's taken a rather casual liking to him. He's entertaining, silly, and not from her world- so why not be friends with him? They even had horrible kitchen adventures together :D

Tyki Mikk (Exorcist)Met and fought with him upon his initial arrival to the DR. They're a fairly evenly-matched pair in terms of fighting abilities, and she's intrigued by the challenge fighting someone with identical abilities (that still work on her) presents. Also, just interesting to talk to, though they have their differences in opinion and sometimes he intentionally annoys the hell out of her. But when they fought a second time she felt surprisingly guilty for wounding him as badly as she did, and has started to realize that keeping Joyd unaltered and within her might not be as good an idea as she originally thought. She thoroughly enjoys his company, all in all.
