[He rolls his eyes, because really, he isn't watching her sleeping. He just came to put fresh flowers by her bed, that's all. That and check that she's still here, still alive and maybe awake by now]
Really. You know, when that's coming from someone knocking at said girl's door completely naked, it's hard to believe who's being the most creepy.
[well, if it isn't Desmond. Now Isabelle's really quite curious as to a) how he got in there and b) why's he's in there. So, instead of calling him back, she merely creeps down the hallway, silent as only someone part-Angel can be, and leans in the doorway, arms crossed over her chest.]
[a) Through the window. After the last attack of the Noctarae at the end of last January, he knows where Jessamine's room is in the mansion, having climbed down her window after spending the night in her bed having nightmares because of the wound he had sustained then. Whatever you're thinking, Izzy, it wasn't as nice as you may think. And b) he came to check on Jessie because he's a friend and he's concerned about seeing her sleep for so long.
Despite the young woman being silent, Desmond's developing Assassin's senses hear her and he turns around in time to see her lean against the doorway. His lips thin out in annoyance before he shakes his head. It could have been worse: it could have been Jace walking on him]
[Izzy doesn't believe your 'friend' spiel. At all. But she'll roll with it.]
Yeah, last time I checked.
How'd you get in the window, anyway? They're kind of high. [she would know, after all. She's climbed out them before to visit Irial. Never mind that she's perceptive - there's only really one way in, otherwise someone would have heard.]
[Well, finally someone with real answers instead of teasing. Desmond nods, already moving to the window to get out of Jessamine's room.
Is there any known side-effects to those kind of sleep?
[Why does everyone assumes he's a stalker? What if he's just visiting his girlfriend, his sister or...idk his wife? There's plenty of good reasons why he could have had the right to enter the blond's room, no?]
[Hey, hey, he's handsome too! He looks just like Ezio after all!!! But yeah, maybe Desmond and Javert should start a club for ugly men getting a beautiful lady one of these days.
He nods. Nothing too bad then.]
Thank you for the information.
[The video feed jolts a little as Desmond let himself drop down Jessamine's window.]
[......ooookaaay he's not going to judge or anything. He's talked to Desmond before and for the most part he seemed to be a nice guy.]
From what I heard, there's no set duration. Sometimes weeks sometimes days on end. It's all a waiting game really.
[Yeah he still remembers how it was when Lenalee last fell in one. Not to mention he remembers not being there for her when she woke. He's still feeling the sting of guilt for that one.]
[/soooooooooobs Why do people always jump to the wrong conclusion?!?! He IS a good guy. He's concerned about his friend and went to check on her and brought her flowers. Nothing to judge him for! Really! He sighs]
Yeah, that's what I've been told.
[Desmond is not entirely sure he wants to be there when Jessamine finally wakes up. Although he's pretty sure the fresh flowers will let her know that he'd been watching over her from time to time.]
[He's not jumping to the wrong conclusion, just not wanting to think you are a stalker is all. You don't seem like the type and he should know since he met Bak]
Well as long as your friend is still here, she is certain to wake up eventually. I take it you two are...close.
[Yeah you do bring flowers to those your close to right?]

Over two weeks is a normal occurrence then?
[He chooses to ignore her question]

Izzy's answer seems to bring him some relief, but really, he'll stop worrying when Jessamine will be up and about.]
I turned into a bat and flew in, of course.
[He can't help but to humor her at this point, because it should be obvious that he simply climbed up to her room.]

[Naomi will just ignore the stalker factor for now. It isn't her business.]

Besides a leftover feeling of restlessness that will take at least week to fully shake off? No, not really.

A month?
[Guess he should wait a little bit longer before freaking out then. Not that he would, really.]

Well, I hope so. [Because he kinda likes having Jessamine around. He then blinks at Allen's question before shrugging the answer]
We're friends. [Although, if you look closer, you might see some faint coloring on his cheeks.
