After a slight delay because Santa ikel89 had ordered something online which took its time and then another slight delay because German mail...idk apparently decided to sit on the package for a few days so that I would be even more excited when I got it. That's also the reason there is no beautiful Christmas still life picture in which I arranged

Yes those are so cool...but sadly my crochet isn't as good as my knitting and I haven't yet found a knitting pattern that gives a similar effect

SRB is a hit or miss for me -- I can tell you more about her writing if you enjoy Elliot's book. To my mind, it should be the perfect introduction as it is a stand-alone and encompasses a lot of Very Good Things she does well :)

In Other Lands is a really fun book! I enjoyed it greatly, and so did my daughter. (I also agree with K that it's a good introduction to SRB's writing in general. She is also hit-or-miss for me, and the hits/misses tend to align with K's.)

XD I like that they have a wishlist where you can save items to your account, because I am definitely gonna wait until next Black Friday for some stuff I have an eye on for myself and others that isn't on sale right now if I still am interested in them next year.

I do have to say that I've never seen a moose necklace before! But then I've never searched for that, either. One thing that is a bit annoying about their necklaces is that most of the free chains/cords are 24", which is a bit longer than I like for necklaces. But I have some shorter chains if I need to do a swap.
