After investigating the matter thoroughly I discovered that putting off doing an entry on my read crime novels isn't going to decrease the number of books I'll have to write about. But I think it's in everyone's interest to not do the write-up quite as in-depth as usually and instead sum up things a bit, especially if my opinion boils down to "I ( Read more... )

nobody expects the spanish inquisition!! i mean, i totally did not just overdose on german pronouns and needed a respite.

i remember your sync-bitching about the deeply deep characters from death in a fancy dress, so please continue to have my sympathies on the fact they they did not, in fact, conspire to murder any odiously boring members of the case.

but what i wanted to comment on was -- a swimming pool with piranhas that are somehow also invisible?? :D I am delighted and must know more about the gems of this literary niche for my very important edwardian gay romances.

The invisible piranhas were in Gwyn Evans’ The Pool of Secrets which sadly doesn't seem to available online because it's short and delightfully silly but I will keep you informed of further discoveries XD
