It's T-minus 6 days until my thesis defense. I got all the paperwork in, formatted my thesis accordingly, made a few scenes in some administrative offices, and paid a ridiculous amount of fees (including two new plane tickets). I just finished watching Mystic River. Man, people do some fucked up things to other people. Also, that movie strengthens my argument that Kevin Bacon is still completely underrated. WSCA was this past weekend. I totally dominated it. Things just kept happening there. I mean I was really excited to have 4 papers accepted, with two of them receiving top debut awards in performance and media studies. But also winning a dance contest at the Speech Comm prom?
