He's like Professor Layton but angrier.

"Just fine" my ass! Does our idiot of a captain have any idea how hard it is to sleep with all this noise!? And while I'm at it, has anyone else noticed how weird it is that he hasn't noticed any of the crazy things going on around here? It was right there! He had to look about two feet behind him or listen for a split second and he'd notice!

Both options sound pretty bad to me.

That's exactly what I was saying.

I can't see this ending well unless the guy actually starts listening to us instead of acting like everything's totally normal.

... Yep, that sounds about right. Seeing as things really aren't normal, and all.

[Sighs, pinching his forehead.]

Have to assume that the bigger the ship, the wider the communication range.

[ Sorry Kazuhiko, you're just getting a stare. You look terribly familiar and he's fairly certain he owes you at least a favor, but he can't put his finger on it. Stupid diceroll memories. ]

Dammit...

If I remember correctly, Commander Orion said that he and his crew aboard their little Ark--ah, shuttle--said that they had been following the Crucible when they found us on Eos. It might be them, though I am not sure.

Orion?

I thought he was supposed to be on our side. I doubt he'd pull anything this annoying. Did you see how the captain was acting? He doesn't seem to care at all.

We're the ones being bothered by it.

True, but last time we met, they had not realized that there were passengers aboard the Crucible. As far as they knew, all passengers and crew had abandoned ship save for Captain Ganymede.

The captain is...rather odd, I must admit. [Won't remind Yukio that technically the captain is probably dead already.]

That's really messed up! How do you serve as a member of a ship's crew - let alone a commander - without knowing who's on it!?

The captain's not as odd as he is annoying! He's sitting around acting like nothing's happening while his hologram machine's going all kinds of crazy and driving me there right along with it!

I don't know about goddesses, but since we apparently lived together for some time and even if we hadn't I'm sure you must've noticed by now that humans need sleep. We need a lot of sleep, every day.

And being surrounded by constant noise and stuff that isn't actually there, especially when it won't stop repeating makes the chance of successfully getting that much sleep...

Equal to the likelihood that someone will be both deaf and blind at the same time, because as far as I can tell that's the only way to possibly ignore all of this!

It's highly unlikely!

[ Also known as: Yukio is cranky and needs a nap. ]
