A serious case of serious business.

[ Yukio appears on the network with a peculiar addition to his outfit - those who saw him first appear might recognize the single black leather glove on his right hand. He's also, interestingly(?), got a smoldering cigarette. ]I don't think any of you need me to tell you that things could get very nasty very soon ( Read more... )

Glad I'm not the only one here who likes to think ahead when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I normally wouldn't bother writing anything down at all, but this place can seriously fuck with people's memories.

So I've heard. But from what I've heard, seems like it only happens AFTER these "time loops" go back to the beginning. Saaa, who knows.

Hmph. I'm not about to take a chance with it even if it is exclusive to time loops.

Even if my memory remains intact, if something happens to the spheres of people less lucky than I am, I'm sure someone would be happy to have these things.

Quite the prudent suggestion, though the final warning is tragically subjective.

However I don't know whether it is more important to ensure that everyone knows the message than to prevent the Captain from finding it.

Subjective? I don't think so. Especially not tragically.

I don't think we have to worry too much about hiding things from the Captain at this point, either. I'm certain that all the shooting at things and talking about it and doing everything short of putting up a big sign advertising it has already screwed our chances of hiding anything that's happened so far over beyond repair.

I agree he'd have to be incredibly dense to not know that something is going on, but unless he has a sphere of his own I doubt he would have Orion's message.

I digress. My original intention was to ask whether messages from Orion from previous months are still on the spheres, and if they could be passed along to all passengers interested.

It'd be stupid for him not to be able to keep track of the network. Like I said, it's his stuff. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I don't think anyone could possibly be that careless.

You wanna hear the previous messages?

If you're interested, I have them memorized word-for-word. At least, all the ones I heard. I don't know how helpful they'll be in this situation or if there are any that I missed, though.

[[ Note: Last cycle he got killed before hearing a few of them. Unfortunately, they were probably the most interesting/important ones. But he doesn't know any of that! ]]

Having hard copies of that information is definitely important. Data in the Spheres can be too easily deleted, or tampered with.

Just as I said, these things don't belong to us. The guy in charge has every right and opportunity to shut the whole thing down, if that's what he wants.

The more copies and the more well-hidden ones, the better. It creates a higher chance that if something should happen with spheres, time, or otherwise, we might be able to get this all sorted out without more trouble than we need.
