My Google-fu is failing me
So there's this episode of a TV show I'm half-remembering, and it's driving me up the wall. Here's what I remember:
- Late 1980s or early 1990s
- Anthology show, possibly the sort of late-night thing I only got away with watching because my mom was working nights, or possibly I was at college and didn't need anyone's permissin to watch trashy TV
- The main character was a sleazy charming fellow, and I want to say he was a salesman who sold some sort of powdered supplement that promised more than it delivered.
- The main character was also fond of one-night stands, or possibly two-night stands.
- The main character was brought down by a scorned woman who was also a witch.
- The witch was hinted to be immortal, or at least long-lived, since she and her witchy friends were fond of wearing ankh jewelry, and joked that they'd known each other "for ages."
- The main character was punished for being a total sleazeball by the circle of witches who trapped him in a hot tub (I think) and chanted around him, with a lot of graceful hand and arm movements.
