yes...it is really not that different..just the placement of some punctuation keys and the smallness of the keyboard but not so small it makes it difficult at all....plus i like the idea of a solid state hard drive...

the specs:

Glossy 8.9 inch LED display (1024X600)

Intel® Atom Processor® N270 (1.6GHz/533Mhz FSB/512K cache)

1GB DDR2 at 533MHz

32GB Solid State Drive (16GB seems to be the mosr you can get if you choose xp over ubuntu for some reason)

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950

Built-in Bluetooth 2.1 capability

Integrated 1.3M Pixel Webcam

Base LCD Assembly

Wireless 802.11g Mini Card

32WHr Battery (4 cell)

1Yr Ltd Warranty and Mail-In Service

1. Is that a Dell or HP mini? Linux or XP? I've been curious and am not impressed with the other cheapos that are out there.

2. The Stone Chocolate Stout seemed to be lacking after 1.5 months after purchase. Not sure if additional cellaring will enhance it, kind of sludge-like.

3. No Avery "The Beast"? I thought all beer freaks had a 3+ year old bottle in the cellar. ;>

the existence of these new mini-laptops still baffles me. to what type of users are these things targeted?

probably people who already have a full sized laptop, tinkerers or children
