The major networks treat news like entertainment...it's all hype and little actual news. Personally, I prefer watching the PBS News Show with that leatherfaced fella, Jim Leher. It's boring...thus untainted and informative.

we talked about the chechens in my journalism class for about 1/2 hour today, it made me think of you and your husband :)
You really need to come visit me, i live maybe 30 minutes away from provincetown, which is the ideal place to be. Its a mecca for artistic types and GLBT's, so hurry up and come visit, you will not feel awkward anymore. :)

You are so completely unique Erin, and really a bit enigmatic. You are actually a lot different from what you initially appear to be on the surface. You are like a mixture of the good, beautiful, preppy cheerleader girl, and the awesome, bad ass, hot punk chick. You might be as messy as I am underneath, but you take it all in stride and deal with everything superbly. Sometimes I want to break the arms of certain people for putting you through unnecessary shit, but then I remember that you are more than capable yourself :D You are strong, smart, assertive, sweet, independent, funny, and sarcastic, all things that I love and admire about you. Moreover, you're open and accepting, and a good friend. :)

Gems, to me, you are the perfect mix of being sweet and assertive at the same time. You are SUCH a sweet person, and no matter how down you are or how bad things might be going, you always have something nice to say to everyone, something that will just pick their day right up. You never try to turn things back around to yourself like so many people do. At the same time, you seem like you are a very assertive person, but in a nice way; you draw your boundaries and make people aware of them, but do it in a totally non-offensive way. That is something that I greatly admire about you, because I have trouble drawing boundaries myself. Sometimes there are people I wish I could beat the tar out of for being inconsiderate to you or hurting you, because you are just too sweet for crap like that. You have a very innocent quality about you, and I love it! You are strong and you deal with things on your own, even though you shouldn't have to sometimes. You are a great friend :-)

You are so very welcome :) I'm really really glad that it made you smile when you needed a pick-me-up. And it's nothing more than the truth! I could say so many more wonderful things about you, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I don't mean any disrespect to your dad, but he really should not be so hard on you about your depression and your character flaws -- we ALL have them! And depression is such an awful and personal thing, he should never ever throw that back in your face. It's not like you asked to be! It's terrible when friends and family use personal issues like that as ammo, and I'm sorry that he did.

You are wonderful though, you have the greatest personality <333 I adore you to bits :) *hugs*
