Earthquake Scare

Mar 25, 2010 14:18

After Haiti and Chile and my country being in the Pacific Ring of Fire, earthquakes scare the hell out of me. I'm on the 32nd floor whan I felt it. I thought I was just dizzy as I've been awake for more than 24 hours. It was not. It was an earthquake. I froze and I just froze. It was scary. Oh dear.

GAY!!!! *HUG* Oh my goodness! Is everyone okay? I didn't know about this. I can't imagine how scary the shaking must be, especially after all the recent quakes. Gay, I truly hope and pray everything and everyone is okay and that you're able to get some rest somehow. 32nd floor... Oh, man.

I'll be praying. God bless you and your family.

thank you so much hon. Everyone is okay. I'm glad there wasn't any damages. Manila wasn't the epicenter so it was basically just around 4-5 in intensity. Though, it was really scary. I just froze and prayed.

Thank you hon for including us in your prayers. After Chile and Haiti, it's been scary to live in a country where the Pacific Ring of Fire runs. *pouts*

Nothing's very serious over here. They Government is checking on roads and bridges, etc to verify if there are any casualties. So far, none. Thank God.

Thanks dear.

I'm so sorry to just now be commenting! I haven't had near as much LJ time this year as I used to have (when the economy was worse and my work hours were less busy). Anyway, I'm so sorry you had this scare! I thought of you when I saw the report on the news and hoped you were okay. I'm very glad to know that you are, despite being scared out of your wits at the time!! *sends belated hugs*
